Led by a Passionate Local Historian, this tour walks a FULL circuit of the famous City Walls. Available as either a PUBLIC Tour with individual bookable places or as a PRIVATE Tour for your group only.

This tour gives a wider introduction to the city's history, including St Columba, Vikings, Normans and Irish chieftains, the Plantation of Ulster, the building of its iconic Walls, the siege of 1688/89, emigrations to the New World of the Scots Irish, industrialisation including the shirt factories, the 1840s potato famine , the Home Rule crisis and partition, the city in two World Wars , the recent Troubles, the peace process including Brexit, and the Derry Girls.
